ADMISSION IN TO CT COURSE (TEACHERS TRAINING).
Directorate of Teacher Education and SCERT, Orissa invites application from eligible candidates for admission in to 2 year CT Course at District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs), District Resource Centres (DRCs) and Government Secondary Training Schools of the State.
Eligibility:
1. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Orissa or outlying oriya tract of west Bengal / Chhattisgarh / Jharkhand / Andhra Pradesh.
2. candidates must have passed higher secondary / +2 examination in Arts / commerce / science from CHSE or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in case of general candidates and 45% of marks in aggregate in case of SC, ST and OBC / SEBC candidate excluding marks secured in fourth optional / extra optional .
3. The candidates must have passed ORIYA as MIL up to Matriculation standard or any such equivalent or higher examination (+2) or should have passed oriya as a subject in special examination conducted by the BSE, Orissa of HSC standard or should have passed HSC examination of BSE, Orissa in Oriya medium with MIL other than Oriya. In case of candidate who have assed without oriya as MIL should submit a certificate to the effect from the concern head master, that he / she passed HSC examination in Oriya medium.
4. The PB Candidates with disability of minimum 40% are eligible to apply.
5. In case of Green card holder candidates. Green card of health & family welfare department, government of Orissa issued in favour of their parents, spouse or self by the concerned CDMO must be submitted with the application form.
6. In case of EX- service man candidates, the EX- serviceman certificate issued in favour of their parents / spouse by the respective defiance headquarters / Rajya sainik board / Zilla sainik board must be submitted with the application form.
7. The candidate in Urdu Category seeking admission in govt. Urdu S.T. School, CTC must have passed URDU as MIL in HSC Examination or any other examination declared as equivalent to HSC standard by the BSE, Orissa.
8. The candidate of sports category must have represented the state in any game and submit the sports certificate issued by the directorate of sports.
9. The outlying Oriya Tract (OOT) candidates who have prosecuted their studies up to HSC Examination in their respective states will be considered for selection under OOT category. They should have passed Oriya as a subject of study in HSC Examination or any such equivalent or higher examination (+2) or should have passed Oriya as a subject in special education conducted by BSE Orissa.
