The School of Legal Studies, Indian Maritime University (IMU) will contact the Common Entrance Test (CET, LL.M) on June 19, 2011. IMU –CET (LL.M) is a perquisite for admission to the LL.M. Programme in Maritime Law that will offered at the Chennai and Cochin campuses from the August 2011 session. The LL.M is a two –year masters programme in maritime Law that aims to provide a through grounding in all aspects of international Maritime Law. The Curriculum includes spectialized courses in Shipping Law and the Law of the Sea. The Programme aims to equip lawyers with the Knowledge and skills required to make a valuable Contribution to the International Shipping Industry.  IMU has signed an MoU with the Netional Law School of India University, Bangalore and offers a seminar courses on the Law of the Sea there.
