ADMISSION IN TO MODEL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE.
Applications are invited for admission to the Model Industrial Training Institute Haldwani for the session commencing from September 2011 in the “Mechanical Group of Trades under restructured pattern of Craftsmen Training Scheme”.
The training under this pattern is organized on a broad based Multi Skill pattern in eight minor trades during the first year followed by modular training during the second year.
Qualification: Matriculation with Science (Physics + Chemistry) and Mathematics from a recognized Board.
Age: Between 14 to 40 years as on 01.09.2011.
Stipend & Scholarship: stipend of Rs 100/- per month is awarded on merit-cum-means basis to 25% of trainees. 4% trainees are paid merit scholarship@ Rs. 125/- PM.
Selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in matriculation examination.

ADMISSION IN TO INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREST MANAGEMENT.
Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal, a Premier sectoral Management Institute, invites applications for one year M.Phil. Programme in Natural Resource Management (Award of degree by Saurashtra University, Rajkot) Commencing from September, 2011. With a focus on climate change, the programme comprises of class work, field work, seminar, study tour (National as well as abroad) and dissertation.
Eligibility: Candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree / Diploma or its equivalent, recognized by an Indian University or Association of Indian Universities with the minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-Non creamy/ PD) in aggregate in the field of Science / Engineering / Management and related Social Sciences (as decided by equivalence committee of the institute). Those appearing in the final year of Post Graduation Examination can also apply: provided they complete the eligibility criteria by August 31.2011.
Selection Process: For in-service officers, the application should be forwarded through proper channel which will be screened at the institute for direct interview. Candidates possessing UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET Certificate or PGDFM from IIFM with a minimum of 3.0 OGPA shall also be exempted from written test and be directly called for interview. Others have to qualify a written test conducted by the institute. The cutoff score of the test will be decided by the institute and shall have three components namely English ability, analytical ability and Natural Resource Management aptitude.
