Eligibility:

2.    A candidate belonging to SC/ST who has obtained 50% marks in aggregate in Master Degree examination shall be eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure:

1.    If numbers of CSIR-UGC NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/ICAR-JRF qualified applicants are more than the available PhD Positions, Selection will be based on only interview with the NET/JRF qualified candidates.
2.    In case sufficient NET/JRF qualified applicants are not available, shortlisted candidates (Without NET/JRF but good academic records) may be called to appear for a written entrance test on 9th December 2010 at IBSD, at their own expenses.

Admission to the Ph.D. programme shall be done in the month of December, 2011. The programme will start on 1st week of January. Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/ICAR-JRF examination are eligible for direct interview.

Eligibility criteria for Int. Ph.D. Programme:
1.    Materials Science: Bachelor’s Degree in any Branch of Science. Those with Bachelors Degree in Engineering with an aptitude towards Scientific Research will al so be considered. Candidates are expected to have sound knowledge in the fundamentals of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
2.    Chemical science: Bachelors Degree in any branch of Science with Chemistry as a major.
3.    Biological Science A) Evolutionary and Organismal Biology: Bachelor Degree in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Statistics. Those with Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with an aptitude toward scientific research will also be considered. B) Molecular Biology and Genetics: Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Science.

For all the above Int. Ph.D. programmes candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks at the Bachelors level . candidates who are appearing for the final examination this year can also apply

Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) invites application in the prescribed from, from Indian National for AIEEA-UG-2010 & AIEEA-PG-2010 on 100% seats at ICAR-Deemed Universities (Bachelor degrees at NDRI only white Master degrees at IARI, IVRI, NDRI and CIFE) and on 15% seats for Bachelor degrees and 25% seats for Master degrees at the SAUs, CAU, CU with Ag. Faculty (BHU, Viswa Bharati , Nagaland Univ and AMU (for PG only) and SHIAT&S Allahabad for the Academic session 2010-11. ADMISSION IN TO PRE-EXAMINATION TRAINING AT RAVENSHAW UNIVERSITY, CUTTACK.

Applications in prescribed form are invited from SC/ST Candidates desirous of undergoing training at Pre-Examination Training Centre, Revenshaw University, Cuttack for the recruitment examination of clerk and assistant in various Government offices of the district and Secretariat.

The applicant should not be an Employee/Student of any school or college. He/She must have passed minimum +2 or any other examination or examinations recognized as equivalent thereof.

The minimum number of trainees to be admitted is thirty. The candidates should be within the age group of  20-30 years as on 1st January, 2010. Each candidate selected for admission will receive a stipend of Rs. 300/- per month for his/her maintenance. Selection for admission will be made on the basis of +2 marks. Trainees are bound to attend 70% of attendance in order to get their stipend.

The centre for Educational Research, Madurai Kamraj University (CER-MKU) invites project proposals for financial assistance from higher education teachers, who are Doctoral level Research Supervisors and working in university departments and Research Institutions, offering Ph.D. programmes. The financial assistance shall be granted under two categories

1. Senior Teachers (40 years of age & above).
2. Junior Teachers (less than 40 years of age)

The duration of the research project shall not exceed 24 months.
