Eligibility:
Candidates satisfying at least one of the following criteria may apply:

1.    State / Central Board: Students qualifying in Class XII in 2010 or 2011 in Science Stream. The cut-off percentage for INSPIRE fellowship of the department of Science & Technology (DST) to be used for the board for class XII are given in

The candidate must also qualify in the joint IISER science Aptitude Test.
2.    IIT-JEE 2011: Students obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in class XII and securing a rank in the regular merit list.
3.    KVPY (Kishore vaigyanik rotsahan Yojana): Students qualified in SA (2009) / SX (2010) / SB (2010) / SP (Passed 10+2 in 2010/2011).
